Head Speed MP 2024

The Speed MP has a softer feel with upgraded Auxetic 2.0 technology, providing intermediate to advanced players a frame with great feel and control with easier manoeuvrability than the Pro edition.

The Speed MP weighs in slightly above average at 10.6 ounces unstrung which will provide a high level of power and stability on big swings without having quite the heft of the heaviest racquets. Due to the head-light balance and weight, the racquet won't feel sluggish and instead will provide players with great racquet speed and manoeuvrability for increased spin potential and quick, dynamic volleys. The head size at 100 square inches provides a relatively generous sweet spot with good access to power potential and some comfort. The open string pattern will increase the pop off the string bed for a relative increase in power potential, provide a bit more comfort as well as enable easier access to spin. The racquet's relative flexibility allows for greater comfort as well as enhanced feel of the ball.

The 2024 edition adds Auxetic 2.0 technology for an updated softer feel, improving on an already sensational feel. HEAD has partnered with Berlac, a premium Swiss lacquer manufacturer, to implement a surface that feels softer to the touch while being robust, durable and chemically resistant.

This generation of Speed MP will feel softer to the touch and when striking the ball while retaining the sweet spot of performance that's made this edition popular. Stronger players looking for a racquet to stand up to a fast-paced game to emphasize their control and feel of the ball should try this racquet.

  Auxetic constructions show a unique deformation compared to non-Auxetic constructions. Due to their internal properties, Auxetic constructions widen when a “pull” force is applied and contract when squeezed. The bigger the applied force, the bigger the Auxetic reaction.

Racquets Returns Each item has a certain set of prerequisites that must all be met in order to return said item. The plastic wrap on the racquet/paddle handle and any other protective pieces such as header cards have not been removed.
The tennis, badminton or squash racquet has not been strung.
Tennis, badminton or squash racquets ordered with stringing services added cannot be cancelled/refunded once the racquet has been strung regardless of shipping status. Regular priced items may be returned within 30 days of ordering for a refund or exchange.
Sale items (discounted less than 40%) may be exchanged or returned for store credit or our gift card within 30 days.
