Description

The Dunlop CX 200 Tour 2027 is a compact, control-oriented racquet built for advanced players who generate their own pace and want a more direct connection to the ball. With its 95 square inch head, thin beam and 310 gram unstrung weight, it is designed to reward full swings with precise targeting, solid feedback and dependable stability.

The 95 square inch head gives the CX 200 Tour a more focused response than a typical 98 or 100 square inch frame, so it suits players who consistently find the centre of the string bed and prefer to shape points with accuracy. Its 16x19 string pattern adds a bit more spin access and easier depth than a denser control layout, while still keeping the launch controlled within this compact head size. At 310 grams unstrung, the frame has enough mass to stay composed against heavier pace, and the 310 mm, 10 points head-light balance helps preserve manoeuvrability for quick preparation, one-handed backhands and reactive net play. The constant 20.5 mm beam keeps the response crisp and traditional rather than overly lively, reinforcing the racquet's control-first identity.

For this generation, Dunlop has reworked the frame's stiffness distribution to improve stability without taking away the feel that control players look for. Reduced stiffness higher in the hoop is intended to allow more inward frame deformation for a more connected response, while added stiffness lower in the hoop helps improve torsional stability on contact. Sonic Core has also been repositioned to 3 and 9 o'clock, where it works with Vibroshield to reduce harsh vibrations and produce a smoother, more comfortable feel. Control Frame Geometry strengthens the face and throat area for greater overall stability, and Powergrid Stringtech+ adjusts the central string pattern to encourage more string movement, giving this precise frame a little more accessible spin and pace.

The CX 200 Tour 2027 remains a demanding player's racquet, but it aims to deliver that control in a more stable and connected package. For experienced hitters who like a compact head and classic feel, it offers a measured blend of precision, feedback and enough spin support to keep modern attacking swings effective.

  • Sonic Core: Located in the middle of the hoop, this super-elastic, super-light material, offers rebound properties significantly higher than other materials. Reduced vibrations mean reduced impact and more comfort.
  • Vibroshield: Feel the control when hitting. The high elasticity properties of the vibration dampening material within the racquet frame reduce vibrations and gives an increased feeling of control when hitting.
  • Control Frame Geometry: Improved stability, and greater spin and power. Advancements to the frame shape provide improved stability in the face and throat of the racquet. And more vertical string length means increased string movement for greater spin and power.
  • Powergrid Stringtech+: Hit with increased spin and power. The updated string pattern enables increased spin and power in the central hitting area.

Photos used contain images of strings for illustration purposes. Adult tennis racquets are unstrung unless otherwise noted or stringing services have been selected above. Brand logo stencils are not applied by default with stringing services. If you request brand logo stencils, please note that a stencil is painted onto the strings within a brand's stencil and may wear off over time - this is how stencils are applied on tour. Depending on the string you select, the stencil paint application fullness, colour and visibility may vary.

Adult racquets generally do not come with covers. To protect your racquet, we recommend getting a racquet bag.

Product specs such as weight may vary slightly from racquet to racquet to what is advertised due to the manufacturing process.

Grip size palm measurements for tennis racquets

If you fall somewhere between the measurements, it is recommended to choose the smaller grip size as you can always build the grip size up using an overgrip (for a slight increase) or a grip build-up sleeve (for a half or full size increase). The grip measurements above factor in the pre-installed factory grip.
