We are currently looking for full-time assistance at our Oakville store. Our ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about the sport of tennis and/or have retail sales experience. We are looking for candidates who can be brand ambassadors, friendly and customer service oriented in their interactions with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet clients
- Assist clients by effectively communicating acquired product knowledge
- Facilitate point of sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Stock, replenish, merchandise and organize inventory
- Assist the stringing department by booking racquet stringing and racquet demos for clients
- General cleaning and organization of the retail sales space and all other store areas
- Assist with telephone and email inquiries
Requirements:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills - listening, understanding and responding
- Friendly, helpful and customer service oriented
- Work collaboratively with all team members
- Receptive to feedback and willing to implement recommendations
- Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast pace environment
- Commit to a consistent work schedule
Experience:
- Preference will be given to individuals with a background in tennis and/or retail sales
Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends per store hours
