Yonex EZONE is back for an 8th generation that improves the overall comfort and power; this 98 Tour variant is a softer-feeling players racquet suitable for advanced players looking to dominate with controllable power and comfort.

The headsize at 98 square inches is smaller than average. With a tighter sweet spot for improved (but more challenging) pocketability, this racquet favours precision. Although the power is still available it will make you work harder for it which is an overall benefit for those who can handle it. The open string pattern has a lively feel with easier access to spin. The weight being the heaviest of the EZONE series at 11.1 ounces (unstrung) brings great stability, plow-through and stopping power for increased power potential, big return of serves and the ability to load up on spin for those who can swing it. Its head-light balance (unstrung) increases your ability to move the frame quickly, an important factor in generating power as well as being conducive to fast movements at the net for game-changing volleys or being able to swing fast for greater spin generation. The beam thickness enhances and optimizes the stability of the frame for greater energy transfer and power across the string-bed, something more common in racquets of the modern era being developed for spin and power.

On the technology side for the 8th generation of EZONEs, Yonex has improved on their ISOMETRIC technology by altering the frame at key areas to further increase the size of the sweet spot for an increase of achievable power inside and around the sweet spot. Yonex has also integrated a new material, Minolon, in between the graphite plates of the shaft which has given the frame a more plush feel for improved comfort. Yonex's vibration controlling technology, VDM, is also present to help take the edge of errant shots.

Racquets Returns Each item has a certain set of prerequisites that must all be met in order to return said item. The plastic wrap on the racquet/paddle handle and any other protective pieces such as header cards have not been removed.
The tennis, badminton or squash racquet has not been strung.
Tennis, badminton or squash racquets ordered with stringing services added cannot be cancelled/refunded once the racquet has been strung regardless of shipping status. Regular priced items may be returned within 30 days of ordering for a refund or exchange.
Sale items (discounted less than 40%) may be exchanged or returned for store credit or our gift card within 30 days.
