Description

The 4th generation of Ultra from Wilson adds comfort and flex for added playability without compromising on power! The Ultra 100 is suitable for intermediate to advanced players looking for a powerful and spin-friendly racquet.

The headsize at 100 square inches provides a blend of control and power with a forgiving feel. Coupled with the headsize, the open string pattern has a lively feel with easier access to spin. The weight being heavier than average at 10.6 ounces (unstrung) brings more general stability and stopping power for increased power potential, big return of serves and the ability to load up on spin for those who can swing it. Its head-light balance aids your ability to move the frame even more quickly, an important factor in generating power as well as being conducive to fast movements at the net for game-changing volleys or being able to swing fast for greater spin generation. The beam thickness enhances and optimizes the stability of the frame for greater energy transfer and power across the string-bed, something more common in the 100 square inch racquets of the modern era being developed for spin and power.

For the 4th generation, Wilson adds a stunning design that spans an array of color-shifting blues depending how the light hits the frame. An all-new construction features FORTYFIVE° for increased stability and comfort through the swing, an all-new geometry expands the Sweet Spot Channel for additional power and reduces bulk in the beam for a smoother, more ergonomic design, and plant-based bumper, grommet and end cap components make this a winner off the court as a more sustainable solution.

Fans of the previous version should enjoy the additional flexibility and arm-friendly feel while new players looking for a modern racquet with easier access to power and spin will find a lot to like in this racquet.

  • Sweet Spot Channel: Cavity on side of frame extends cross strings and increases grommet movement for more power.

Photos used contain images of strings for illustration purposes. Adult tennis racquets are unstrung unless otherwise noted or stringing services have been selected above. Brand logo stencils are not applied by default with stringing services. If you request brand logo stencils, please note that a stencil is painted onto the strings within a brand's stencil and may wear off over time - this is how stencils are applied on tour. Depending on the string you select, the stencil paint application fullness, colour and visibility may vary.
Adult racquets generally do not come with covers. To protect your racquet, we recommend getting a racquet bag.

Grip size palm measurements for tennis racquets

If you fall somewhere between the measurements, it is recommended to choose the smaller grip size as you can always build the grip size up using an overgrip (for a slight increase) or a grip build-up sleeve (for a half or full size increase). The grip measurements above factor in the pre-installed factory grip.
