Description

The Yonex MUSE 98 is crafted for strong intermediate and experienced players who want a racquet that blends elevated comfort with accessible power. With performance-oriented specs wrapped in a stress-reducing design philosophy, it’s built for players who swing with intent but value smoothness and stability through every rally.

The 98 square inch head pairs with a more open 16x18 string pattern, helping players generate easier power and depth while maintaining directional control. At 305g unstrung with a 9 pts head light balance, the MUSE remains stable through contact yet manoeuvrable enough for smooth, relaxed swings. The beam construction is especially notable: a thicker 24mm profile in the head adds pop and stability on impact, while the thinner 18mm throat increases flexibility for enhanced comfort. This contrast between a responsive upper hoop and a more forgiving throat creates a racquet that delivers lively power without sacrificing smoothness.

At the core of the MUSE is the new Synchro Frame concept, which integrates three key Yonex technologies for effortless rallying. The signature ISOMETRIC head shape enlarges the sweet spot for more consistent contact across the string bed. The Uniform Impact Grommet system enhances string movement for a more even, forgiving response on off-centre shots. The Energy Flow Shaft, reinforced with Servo Filter material, refines vibration while efficiently transferring power, giving players a smooth, connected feel without harsh feedback. Together, these elements create a racquet that reduces physical strain while maintaining stability and control.

The MUSE 98 delivers performance-level power with a noticeably smoother, more comfortable response. It allows strong intermediates and experienced players to swing confidently, generate easy depth, and stay relaxed through longer rallies. The result is a racquet that supports your game rather than demanding more from it, helping you stay immersed and play with freedom.

  • Synchro Frame―Designed for Effortless Rallying: At the heart of MUSE is the Synchro Frame, a new structural concept that synchronizes three of Yonex’s core technologies to deliver smooth handling, stable performance, and reduced fatigue.
  • ISOMETRIC: A signature Yonex technology that achieves a larger sweet spot. By making the vertical and horizontal strings as close in length as possible, a square-shaped ISOMETRIC racquet generates a 7% larger sweet spot compared to a conventional round frame and delivers greater control without sacrificing power. This technology has been loved by some of the world’s top players for over 40 years, helping them win numerous titles over the years, and continues to evolve even today.
  • Uniform Impact Grommet: The newly developed Uniform Impact Grommet features a unique straight-grommet structure at all four corners of the frame. By increasing string movement, it produces a more uniform and forgiving response for both center and off-center hits, enhancing comfort and control during rallies.
  • Energy Flow Shaft: The Energy Flow Shaft is a control-oriented shaft that efficiently transfers power while delivering an easy-to-control feel, despite its slim profile. Featuring a carefully engineered concave shape that balances stiffness and flex, the shaft is further enhanced with Servo Filter—an elastic, highly adhesive material that refines vibration and feel. Together, these elements support smooth power transfer and stable control throughout rallies.
  • Designed for Comfort, Flow, and Freedom: With its refined contours, soft silver tone, and matte finish, MUSE supports a natural playing rhythm while reducing on-court stress. Every design element reflects Yonex’s commitment to performance, comfort, and innovation.

Brand logo stencils are not applied by default with stringing services. If you request brand logo stencils, please note that a stencil is painted onto the strings within a brand's stencil and may wear off over time - this is how stencils are applied on tour. Depending on the string you select, the stencil paint application fullness, colour and visibility may vary.

Adult racquets generally do not come with covers. To protect your racquet, we recommend getting a racquet bag.
