Description

The 9th Gen Pure Aero Lite from Babolat delivers the signature Pure Aero spin and speed in a lighter, more manoeuvrable package, featuring a refined aerodynamic update for faster racquet head speed, improved feel through integrated flax fibres, and a tuned 16×19 string pattern - making it ideal for passionate juniors moving into a full-size frame or adults looking for an easy-to-swing, spin-friendly racquet.

The 100 square inch head size delivers a forgiving mix of power and control, while the open string pattern adds a lively response with easy access to spin. Weighing just 9.5 oz (unstrung), the racquet feels exceptionally manoeuvrable, making it easy to handle on serves, quick returns, and fast exchanges at the net. A head-light balance keeps the frame moving effortlessly for faster swings, added spin, and sharp volleying, while the modern beam design reinforces stability and energy transfer for consistent power across the string bed.

Built for modern all-court performance, the 9th Gen Pure Aero from Babolat delivers speed, spin, and controlled power through refined frame technologies. The updated AEROMODULAR4 design reduces air drag by approximately 6%, boosting racquet head speed for faster acceleration, heavier spin, and more penetrating shots. FSI SPIN combines an open 16×19 string pattern with Spin Grommets at 6 and 12 o’clock to enhance string movement for dynamic, controlled spin. Completing the package, NF²-TECH 2.0 integrates unidirectional flax fibres to improve structural strength while filtering vibrations, resulting in a cleaner, more responsive feel at impact.

Whether you’re moving up from a previous Pure Aero Lite or picking it up for the first time, the Gen9 offers a smooth, confidence-building path into aggressive, spin-focused tennis. Backed by over 20 years of innovation from Babolat, this lighter, faster update delivers easy acceleration, effortless spin, and quick handling from all areas of the court. Returning players will notice a more explosive yet comfortable feel, while new players benefit from a forgiving, easy-to-swing frame that makes it simpler to rally longer, attack with confidence, and take control of points.

  • AEROMODULAR4: The optimized aerodynamic frame, with a reworked core and integrated plastic parts, reduces drag and improves racquet head speed. The result: faster acceleration, increased spin, and more powerful shots.
  • FSI SPIN: A specific string pattern (16x20), combined with Spin Grommets at 6 and 12 o'clock, optimizes string movement for a powerful, controlled spin. The result: exceptional control and more dynamic shots.
  • NF²-TECH 2.0: Version 2.0 of Babolat's natural flax fiber technology offers a 100% unidirectional fabric, ensuring superior mechanical strength and optimal filtration of vibrations.

Photos used contain images of strings for illustration purposes. Adult tennis racquets are unstrung unless otherwise noted or stringing services have been selected above. Brand logo stencils are not applied by default with stringing services. If you request brand logo stencils, please note that a stencil is painted onto the strings within a brand's stencil and may wear off over time - this is how stencils are applied on tour. Depending on the string you select, the stencil paint application fullness, colour and visibility may vary.

Adult racquets generally do not come with covers. To protect your racquet, we recommend getting a racquet bag.

Product specs such as weight may vary slightly from racquet to racquet to what is advertised due to the manufacturing process.
