Description

The latest Dunlop FX 500 LS refines the series’ signature blend of effortless power, stability, and comfort with improved feel and consistency—making it an excellent choice for beginners, rising intermediates, and experienced club players seeking a lightweight, responsive racquet that enhances all-around performance.

The 100-square-inch head size offers an ideal balance of control, power, and forgiveness, making it suitable for a wide range of players. Its open string pattern enhances spin potential and energy return, giving each shot a lively, responsive feel. At 10.1 ounces (unstrung), the racquet remains highly manoeuvrable while providing enough stability for confident, penetrating strokes from the baseline. A head-light balance supports quick, versatile movement across the court, allowing for faster swings and smooth transitions at the net. The variable beam design further refines the blend of power, comfort, and stability throughout the frame.

The latest updates focus on enhancing power, comfort, and consistency. The new Power Boost+ Frame Geometry features a refined mold with added beam thickness and adjusted carbon layering for greater ball speed and a softer feel. Power Wave Grommets and the Power Boost+ Groove expand the sweet spot and improve string response, delivering more consistent power and control. Sonic Core with Infinergy by BASF boosts rebound and comfort by reducing vibration, while Vibroshield adds further damping through built-in vibration layers. Rounding it out, the Power Grid String Tech enlarges the string bed for increased power, spin, and forgiveness across the racquet face.

For new players, the FX 500 LS offers a smooth introduction to performance-level racquets—delivering easy power, light handling, and a forgiving response that helps build confidence with every swing. Returning players will appreciate how this model fine-tunes the FX formula, adding a softer, more connected feel while maintaining the speed and pop the series is known for. Whether you’re developing clean mechanics or looking to sharpen your all-court game, the FX 500 LS delivers the ideal blend of power, comfort, and manoeuvrability to support your growth and consistency on court.

  • Head Size: 100 sq inches / 645 cm sq
  • Length: 27 inches / 68.6 cm
  • Weight: 10.1 ounces / 285 grams unstrung
  • Balance: 325 mm / 6 points head light unstrung
  • Swingweight: 307 strung
  • Beam Width: 23mm / 26mm / 23mm
  • Flex: 69
  • Tension Range: 45-65 lbs / 20-29 kgs
  • String Pattern: 16 x 19
  • Style #: 10369902
  • Power Boost+ Frame Geometry: The new frame features a brand-new mold with adjusted carbon construction, added beam thickness, and a wider front profile extending from 3 and 9 o’clock down to the handle. These design changes increase racquet face stiffness for greater ball speed while reducing side stiffness through modified carbon layering, creating a softer, more comfortable feel.
  • Power Wave Grommets: A new wave-pattern grommet design spans eight holes at both the 3 and 9 o’clock positions, alternating hole heights to increase stiffness across the central horizontal strings. This enhances string bed stiffness and Power Equality, delivering a more consistent sweet spot and even power distribution across the racket face.
  • Power Boost+ Groove: A precision-engineered groove beneath the grommet strip allows greater grommet and string deflection at impact, expanding the sweet spot for enhanced power. This design also improves bite and ball hold, delivering a more comfortable, responsive feel.
  • Sonic Core Made with Infinergy By BASF: Sonic Core with Infinergy is positioned at the 3 and 9 o’clock areas of the racquet head, using a light, elastic material with superior rebound properties. By reducing vibrations and impact, it enhances comfort, lowers injury risk, and delivers powerful, effortless performance.
  • Vibroshield: An anti-vibration rubber layer at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions dampen vibrations throughout the frame. This Vibroshield technology enhances feel and provides a smoother, more comfortable playing experience.
  • Power Grid String Tech: Put control in the palm of your hand. The string bed is larger across the main & cross strings, providing more even power distribution, particularly at the racquet top. String movement generates more power & spin.

Photos used contain images of strings for illustration purposes. Adult tennis racquets are unstrung unless otherwise noted or stringing services have been selected above. Brand logo stencils are not applied by default with stringing services. If you request brand logo stencils, please note that a stencil is painted onto the strings within a brand's stencil and may wear off over time - this is how stencils are applied on tour. Depending on the string you select, the stencil paint application fullness, colour and visibility may vary.
Adult racquets generally do not come with covers. To protect your racquet, we recommend getting a racquet bag.

Product specs such as weight may vary slightly from racquet to racquet to what is advertised due to the manufacturing process.
