Description

With this update of the Vcore Pro 97 Yonex has added vibration dampening mesh in the handle of the racquet, leading to a better feel and a more arm friendly frame.

Weighted at 10.9 ounces (310 grams) the VCORE Pro 97 G is significantly lighter than it's big brother the VCORE Pro 97 HG (11.6 ounces). Though it might lack some of the stability and plough through of the hefty HG version, it does still offer plenty of both. Not surprisingly, its lighter weight results in a faster swinging and more maneuverable racquet. Adding to the maneuverability is the 10 point headlight balance (310 mm balance point). Meaning this racquet's quickness should make it great at the net. As with it's predecessor, the most noticeable technology that the VCORE Pro 97 displays is Yonex's tried and tested Isometric head shape. This allows the relatively compact 97 square inch headsize feel much larger especially compared to other racquets in this class.

  • Head Size: 97 sq. inches / 625 sq. cm
  • Length: 27 inches / 69.58 cm
  • Weight: 10.9 oz / 310 g unstrung
  • Balance: 10 pts head light / 310 mm unstrung
  • Swing Weight: 317 strung
  • Beam width: 20mm / 20mm / 20mm
  • Flex: 63 RA
  • Tension Range: 45-60 lbs / 20-27kg
  • String Pattern: 16/19
  • Year Introduced: 2019
  • Super Cushion Grip:
The Super Cushion Grip minimizes vibration. The cushioning performance of the grip helps protect the wrist, forearm and elbow against shock-induced injuries.
  • Black Micro Core:
New carbon graphite and elastic particles are added to Micro Core technology for increased face stability and even better vibration dampening.
  • 3D Vector Shaft:
The throat grooves of the next generation 3D Vector Shaft are extended, generating supreme face stability.
  • Isometric:
Isometric design increases the sweet spot by 7% according to Yonex. Compared to a conventional round frame, a square-shaped Isometric racquet generates a larger sweet spot by optimizing the intersection of the main and cross strings. Isometric delivers greater control without sacrificing power.
  • Namd:
Overpower with heavy drives. With Namd graphite's unique flex and fast frame snapback, you can grip the ball and fire off aggressive, attacking spin.
  • Lock Booster System:
Crush the ball. An improved grommet design that promotes string contact for efficient energy transfer an ball crushing power.
  • Vibration Dampening Mesh:
VDM is a stretchy mesh material that adheres well to graphite to reduce arm fatigue. Integrated within the grip, VDM minimizes vibrations by 30% resulting in improved feel and precise ball control.
