Yonex updates Denis Shapovalov's racquet of choice, the VCORE 95, to make it more spin friendly as well as enhancing the racquets feel.
The most compact head size in the VCORE lineup, the VCORE 95 is designed for precision and is targeted at big hitters. However, coming in at 10.9 ounces unstrung, the VCORE 95 is lighter and more maneuverable then most other racquets with such a compact head size. The weight and 10 point head light balance (unstrung) means that this is a fast swinging racquet. Yonex has also added a few technologies that make this racquet more aerodynamic and even faster swinging. The addition of more Aero Fins, now at the lower portion of the head as well as the upper portion, means less resistance as the racquet passes through the air. The new Aero Trench technology recesses the grommets along the top of the frame to even further reducing drag. All of these aerodynamic enhancing technologies allow for easy acceleration through the hitting zone and makes for a racquet that is extremely spin friendly.
Also new to this racquet is Yonex's Namd technology. Interring the extremely flexible Namd material into strategic areas of the racquet's layup allows the graphite carbon to create more snapback; producing more powerful shots, better feel as well as more spin potential. Though this racquet has a similar flex rating (65 RA) to it's predecessor the VCORE SV 95 it does feel noticeably softer and more forgiving thanks to the Namid technology. Another new technology that enhances this racquet's feel is Liner Tech. By dramatically reducing the angle at which the string enters the grommets on select main strings acts to extend these strings and produces a larger more forgiving sweetspot as well as more ball pocketing at impact.
The VCORE SV would be a great choice for big hitters looking for a compact head-size racquet that is maneuverable, packs plenty of spin potential and is surprisingly forgiving.

To determine your grip size without using a racquet, measure from the tip of your ring finger to the major fold crease in your palm. Write down the distance to the nearest 8th of an inch. This is your standard grip size.
If you fall somewhere between the measurements, it is recommended to choose the smaller grip size as you can always build the grip size up using an overgrip or a grip build-up sleeve.

This item has a dimensional weight of 1.0 kg per unit of quantity. Also known as volumetric weight, this is an estimated weight that is calculated from the length, width, height and actual weight of a package.
