The Burn FST 95 is the heaviest (11.3 oz. unstrung) frame in the new Burn FST family and also has the smallest head size (95 sq. in.). Don’t let its small head size and relatively hefty weight fool you, this is still a modern player’s racquet. Those looking for a lots of control and precision will love the compact head size and even with a relatively high swingweight (331 RDC), this frame still swings fast. This is a result of Wilson’s Fast Swing Technology which makes the racquet’s beam very aerodynamic and allows for plenty of racquet head speed. This increase in racquet head speed combined with the frame’s swingweight produces plenty of plow through and lots of weight of shot. The Burn FST 95 also has plenty of stability, even against shots with plenty of pace. Another new feature in the Burn FST racquets is Wilson’s X2 Ergo grip technology. By inserting special grip inserts under the grip, the top of the handle is thickened allowing for more leverage for those hitting with two-handed backhands. The Burn FXT 95 will appeal to those looking for a classic 95 square inch head size on a modern fast swinging frame.
