Description

The Yonex VCORE Pro 97HD is a racquet for experienced players looking to maximize control. The updated VCORE Pro series has added vibration dampening mesh in the handle of the racquet, leading to a better feel and a more arm friendly frame.

Coming in at 11.3 ounces (320 grams) unstrung, the 97 HD is on the heavier end of the players racquet spectrum. The mass provides lots of impact stability even when faced with powerfully struck balls. The weight also means there is plenty of power on offer to those who can generate the racquet head speed with this weighty stick. The 10 point head light balance (310 mm balance point) ensures the racquet still has a good level of maneuverability. The 97 square inch head size coupled with Yonex's tried and tested Isometric head shape, makes for a larger sweetspot than most racquets in this class which can come in handy especially since it has a denser string pattern. The 18/20 string pattern will assist in improving the overall control performance of this frame allowing for even bigger swings for powerful drives and precise volleys.

Yonex has delivered another frame sure to please experienced players looking for a classic frame feel with all the modern updates you'd expect from today's racquets.

  • Namd:
Overpower with heavy drives. With Namd graphite's unique flex and fast frame snapback, you can grip the ball and fire off aggressive, attacking spin.
  • Lock Booster System:
Crush the ball. An improved grommet design that promotes string contact for efficient energy transfer an ball crushing power.
  • Vibration Dampening Mesh:
VDM is a stretchy mesh material that adheres well to graphite to reduce arm fatigue. Integrated within the grip, VDM minimizes vibrations by 30% resulting in improved feel and precise ball control.
