Racquet choice of Kei Nishikori the Ultra 95 Countervail is targeted toward aggressive players looking for a control oriented racquet that has plenty of plough through in a comfortable package. In today's racquet marketplace the Ultra 95 has a fairly unique set of specifications. It's 10.9 ounce unstrung weight is on the lighter side of the player racquet spectrum. However, coupled with its 7 point head light balance and 27.25 length, the Ultra 95 swings much heavier than its static weight would suggest. A strung swing weight of 339 RDC means that this racquet has plenty of plough trough in the hitting zone and those players that can handle the mass will be rewarded with a nice amount of pop. The compact 95 square inch head size favours experienced players looking for accuracy. The 16x20 string pattern offers a nice mix of spin potential and control. Countervail Technology ensures that this racquet is comfortable and easy on the arm and Power Rip Technology keeps things stable. The Ultra 95 Countervail is a great addition to the Ultra family and should appeal to advanced players looking for a control oriented racquet that is comfortable and stable, but it will also provide strong players the power needed to be successful in the modern game. Fans of pervious classic Wilson frames like the Tour 95 and Six.One 95 Team should also give the Ultra 95 Countervail a try.
A great update from Wilson and another great addition to Wilson’s line up of players’ racquets.

To determine your grip size without using a racquet, measure from the tip of your ring finger to the major fold crease in your palm. Write down the distance to the nearest 8th of an inch. This is your standard grip size.
If you fall somewhere between the measurements, it is recommended to choose the smaller grip size as you can always build the grip size up using an overgrip or a grip build-up sleeve.
