Description

The Speed MP is a very versatile racquet that will provide players of all levels a great blend of power, control and comfort. You will find this frame has control for a fast game but with more maneuverability and easier handling than the Pro edition.

The Speed MP is available in a new design with an asymmetric combination of matte and glossy white and glossy black. It comes with the new Graphene 360+ technology, a combination of Graphene 360's energy transfer and innovative spiralfibers for an enhanced flex and clean impact feel as well as a 16/19 string pattern for enhanced spin during fast rallies. The Speed Series is endorsed by Novak Djokovic.

The raw specs on this version haven't been altered from the previous model, so this new frame should feel right at home in the hands of current Speed MP players. Thanks to the updated technologies, players should also find added comfort and energy return on a full swing. The Speed MP is slightly lighter than the heaviest racquet in the Speed family, bringing with it a nice blend of stability and added maneuverability. In fact, like the name eludes to, generating racquet head speed is fairly straight forward with this racquet, especially when compared to other racquets in the players racquet category. This is thanks to its 8 point headlight balance (315 mm) and relatively low swingweight. The more open 16/19 string patter will also provide easier access to spin during fast rallies. Like the previous version, the placement of Graphene 360 in the racquet's shaft as well as the racquet's head at 3, 9 and 12 o'clock, strengthens the racquet in these key areas and contributes to enhanced stability and power. With the addition of Spiralfibers in the lower portion of the hoop, Head has enhanced the overall feel of the frame with better energy transfer, more flex and a cleaner impact feel.

Head's recommended strings:

  • For spin: Head Hawk Rough
  • For control: Head Hawk Touch

If your game is fast as lightning, the Speed MP can give you the control you need.
