The Extreme MP with the "sensational feel" of Auxetic construction helps you to spin big for a dynamic and aggressive game that should appeal to a wide range of players from intermediate to advanced and even some strong beginners.
The headsize at 100 square inches provides a blend of control and power with a forgiving feel. Coupled with the headsize, the open string pattern has a lively feel with easier access to spin. The weight being heavier than average at 10.6 ounces (unstrung) brings more general stability and stopping power for increased power potential, big return of serves and the ability to load up on spin for those who can swing it. Its head-light balance (increased from the previous iteration) aids your ability to move the frame even more quickly, an important factor in generating power as well as being conducive to fast movements at the net for game-changing volleys or being able to swing fast for greater spin generation. The beam thickness enhances and optimizes the stability of the frame for greater energy transfer and power across the string-bed, something more common in the 100 square inch racquets of the modern era being developed for spin and power.
On the technology side, HEAD brings Auxetic technology to the Extreme line. Head's Auxetic is an adaptive technology that optimizes ball feedback depending on where the ball is hit on the stringbed. The Graphene technology is being used to strengthen the frame for enhanced stability and power. The other technologies listed in the "technology" section further optimize what makes the Extreme series the ideal spin-oriented frame.
Combined with the core technologies, updates and specs, this racquet is a dangerous weapon for players who want to maximize their spin and power.
The Extreme series is endorsed by Matteo Berrettini.

Auxetic constructions show a unique deformation compared to non-Auxetic constructions. Due to their internal properties, Auxetic constructions widen when a “pull” force is applied and contract when squeezed. The bigger the applied force, the bigger the Auxetic reaction.
Strategically positioned in most of HEAD's racquets, Graphene strengthens the frame, provides greater stability and optimises energy transfer from racquet to ball.
The open 16/19 string pattern maximizes string snap-back for greater spin generation.
The spin shaft provides optimized lateral stability, creating higher spin potential.
Spin grommets allow for greater main string movement in all directions for maximizing power and spin.
Sound grommets provide enhanced power via greater string movement and optimize sound and vibrations.
Photos used contain images of strings for illustration purposes. Adult tennis racquets are unstrung unless otherwise noted or stringing services have been selected above. Brand logo stencils are not applied by default with stringing services. If you request brand logo stencils, please note that a stencil is painted onto the strings within a brand's stencil and may wear off over time - this is how stencils are applied on tour. Depending on the string you select, the stencil paint application fullness, colour and visibility may vary.
Adult racquets generally do not come with covers. To protect your racquet, we recommend getting a racquet bag.
Product specs such as weight may vary slightly from racquet to racquet to what is advertised due to the manufacturing process.
Adult Racquets Sizing Information
To determine your grip size without using a racquet, measure from the tip of your ring finger to the major fold crease in your palm. Write down the distance to the nearest 8th of an inch. This is your standard grip size.
If you fall somewhere between the measurements, it is recommended to choose the smaller grip size as you can always build the grip size up using an overgrip (for a slight increase) or a grip build-up sleeve (for a half or full size increase). The grip measurements above factor in the pre-installed factory grip.

This item has a dimensional weight of 1.0 kg per unit of quantity. Also known as volumetric weight, this is an estimated weight that is calculated from the length, width, height and actual weight of a package. It also takes into consideration oversize/fuel surcharges. It is not representative of the actual weight of a package. We use this estimated weight as the basis to our shipping rate calculations.
