The Radical MP, the sweet spot of the Radical series of racquets, has been updated to improve playability for an all-court, strong beginner to experienced player. With it's new vibrant orange design, it proves to be an attractive option.
The most versatile of the series, the Radical MP should provide easier playability than the heavier Radical Pro, yet stand up to a bigger game than the lighter Radical S.
This racquet features Head's Graphene 360+ technology, a combination of Graphene 360's energy transfer and innovative spiralfibers which delivers enhanced flex and clean impact feel. This means improved response and feel over previous iterations resulting in easier power and stability.
With an additional 5 grams of weight over the previous edition, its 10.6 ounces (unstrung) will provide additional potential power and impact for those who can consistently swing it. The solid feel that it provides will prove important during high intensity rallies or return of powerful serves. It's head-light balance will help retain a quick cutting and agile feel for spin, volleys and fast serves.
Unchanged from the previous edition, the head size is on the smaller side of average which enables greater control potential for those consistent with it's smaller sweet spot. It's dynamic string pattern means that there is a higher density of the strings in the sweet spot which translates to a greater degree of control and yet it is more forgiving when struck out of the sweet spot due to a lower density of the string bed in these areas.
The Radical MP should appeal to a wide variety of players looking for a racquet to give them a blend of power, control and spin. As an update to players using the previous generation, the playability improvements and tweaks to some of the specs should satisfy the desire to push your game further.
Photos used contain images of strings for illustration purposes. Adult tennis racquets are unstrung unless otherwise noted or stringing services have been selected above. Brand logo stencils are not applied by default with stringing services.

To determine your grip size without using a racquet, measure from the tip of your ring finger to the major fold crease in your palm. Write down the distance to the nearest 8th of an inch. This is your standard grip size.
If you fall somewhere between the measurements, it is recommended to choose the smaller grip size as you can always build the grip size up using an overgrip or a grip build-up sleeve.
