Asics Women's Gel-Resolution 8 - Tokyo

This limited edition Tokyo colourway is bright and bold. Combining the best features from the previous models the Resolution 8 has improved cushioning and stability while maintaining the classic Asics feel after hours on court. The inclusion of FlyteFoam cushioning combined with Asics Gel technology means that the midsole recovers faster after use and lasts longer due to the FylteFoam properties. Visually the biggest change is the new Dynawall support system on the lateral sides of the shoe. This hard compound is designed to stop you from rolling over as you slide and pivot on court, providing enhanced stability and structural integrity to the shoe. The FlexionFit upper is a resistant Polyurethane that bends and moves dynamically with your foot better than previous models while keeping the breathability intact. Worn year-round by ATP star Gael Monfils; you can imagine the pounding he puts these shoes through every day. The Resolution line has been a staple in the tennis community for years and Asics continues to improve and strive for solid technology improvements with each iteration.

• Impact Guidance System (IGS): The ASICS IGS design, which was initially designed for running shoes, has been transitioned into their tennis shoes. The technology links the rear-foot with the forefoot of the shoe to enable a more natural foot step from when your heel strikes the court to when you are pushing off into your next step.
• Flexion Fit: A proprietary technology that ASICS has developed for their Gel Solution Speed Shoes. The material has been designed to be light weight, while still providing great support. The shoe wraps around the foot allowing for flexibility and great comfort.
