Description

One of the premier attacking racquets from Yonex, the Astrox series is for players who demand a steep angled and devastating smash, taking the point to their opponent. This Hi-Flex Graphite and Tungsten frame gives fantastic power from all over the court while being fast and stable. A slightly head heavy balance aids in the power by providing more weight behind each stroke, the balance makes the frame a bit less maneuverable but for strong players who generate significant racquet head speed, this frame will feel extra powerful especially on those clears and smashes.

  • Flex: Hi-Flex
  • Frame: Graphite + Tungsten
  • Shaft: H.T. Graphite + Nanomesh Neo
  • Weight / Grip Size: 4U (avg 83grams) / G4
  • Tension Range: 19-26 lbs
  • Colour: Black / Lime

Rotational Generator System: By applying the counterbalance theory, weight is distributed throughout the grip end, frame top and the joint for maximum control. The transition to the next shot can be performed smoothly with a rapid succession.

Isometric: The square-shaped ISOMETRIC frame shape is designed to keep vertical strings at a similar length, as well as the horizontal strings to produce an expanded sweet spot in all directions.

Built-in T-Joint: Moulded deep into the layers of graphite where the frame connects with the shaft, the YONEX Built-in T-Joint creates a durable and high-strength one-piece frame that is torque-free.

Control Support Cap: YONEX has designed a new octahedron shaped control support cap that reduces air resistance whilst encouraging nimble handling.

Dimensional Weight: 0.5 kg

Dimensional weight, also known as volumetric weight, is an estimated weight that is calculated from the length, width, height and actual weight of a package. It also takes into consideration oversize/fuel surcharges. It is not representative of the actual weight of a package. We use this estimated weight as the basis to our shipping rate calculations.
