Babolat updates the Pure Aero Team, the lighter weight version of the Pure Aero, by giving it a touch more control and feel, but keeping all of the spin potential and access to power intact.
Many intermediate and strong beginners have gravitated to the Pure Aero Team (as well as its predecessors the Aero Pro Team) because of its slightly lighter weight and high levels of spin potential. This should not change with this latest version. Babolat smartly keeps the weight, balance, head size and string pattern unchanged from the pervious version. One change they do make is moving the Cortex Pure Feel dampening material to the head of the racquet at 3 and 9 o'clock. This acts to make the racquet slightly softer feeling at contact and enhances the racquet's feel as well as providing a little extra control. Back for this latest version of the Pure Aero Team is FSI Spin technology which brings wider spacing between the strings in the sweetspot to provide extra bite into the ball. Oblong grommets at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions create more string snapback to contribute even more to this racquet's spin potential. The Aeromodular design makes for a racquet that swings through the air with ease. Generating power and spin should not be a problem for even the most novice of players.
By adding a little more comfort and control to this already extremely popular frame, Babolat is sure to have another winner on their hands. A must try for beginners and intermediate players looking for a lightweight spin friendly racquet.

To determine your grip size without using a racquet, measure from the tip of your ring finger to the major fold crease in your palm. Write down the distance to the nearest 8th of an inch. This is your standard grip size.
If you fall somewhere between the measurements, it is recommended to choose the smaller grip size as you can always build the grip size up using an overgrip or a grip build-up sleeve.
