2015 ASICS Footwear
ASICS is a Japanese footwear and sports equipment company. They are well-known for their unique running shoes and signature style. They have taken what they have learned with their running shoes and have developed tennis shoes. Each and every ASICS shoe is approved by the American Podiatry Medical Association; a leading resources for foot and ankle health information. Like their signature running shoes, all ASICS tennis shoes feature their unique GEL Cushioning system. This year ASICS has brought back some of their classic court shoes and they have also redeveloped some of their older styles. The new technologies in the footwear line mean that shoes will be lighter, more durable, provide more stability and be more comfortable while still following the company’s unique design and structure.
The Gel Resolution 6 is a continuation of the popular Resolution series. This performance shoe offers great support with its uniform sole, while also providing great stability. The sole of the shoe features multiple pivot points that allow for smoother transitions when changing directions. The Gel Resolution 6 sole is made from ASICS Hard Abrasion Rubber Plus Technology which has been developed to increase the durability and the stability of the shoe. In the collar of the shoe two layers of memory foam have been placed to allow the players foot to mould to the shoe providing a custom fit. ASICS famous GEL cushioning pads have been placed in the heel and in the forefoot. This increases overall comfort, as well as minimizes impact - from the moment your heel strikes the court to when you push off for your next shot.
The Gel Solution Speed 2 offers similar technologies to the Gel Resolution, but it is built to provide a quicker with a decreased weight. The shoe has been designed using a Fusion Fit technology that wraps the shoe around the foot for greater support. The sole of the shoe is designed in two parts, the heel and the forefoot, allowing the shoe to be more flexible and responsive to quick directional changes. You will find GEL cushioning pads in the heel and the forefoot, which makes the shoe feel more responsive and comfortable.
