The Merchant of Tennis is looking for Part-Time, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Team Event Staff for the 2025 National Bank Open in Toronto from Saturday July 26 – Thursday August 7, 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet clients
- Provide excellent service in all aspects of the sales experience
- Assist clients by effectively communicating
- Facilitate point of sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Stock, replenish, merchandise and organize inventory
- General cleaning and organization of the retail sales space
Requirements
- Friendly, helpful and customer service oriented
- Work collaboratively with all team members
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills - listening, understanding and responding
- Receptive to feedback and willing to implement recommendations
- Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Commit to a consistent work schedule
Experience
- Preference will be given to individuals with a background in tennis and/or retail sales
Part time hours
- Minimum 32-40 hours total, including a minimum of four 8-hour shifts over 13 days, comprised of days shifts, evenings and weekends per Event Store hours.
