The Merchant of Tennis is looking for Part-Time, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Team Event Staff for the 2025 National Bank Open in Toronto from Saturday July 26 – Thursday August 7, 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet clients
  • Provide excellent service in all aspects of the sales experience
  • Assist clients by effectively communicating
  • Facilitate point of sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Stock, replenish, merchandise and organize inventory
  • General cleaning and organization of the retail sales space

Requirements

  • Friendly, helpful and customer service oriented
  • Work collaboratively with all team members
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills - listening, understanding and responding
  • Receptive to feedback and willing to implement recommendations
  • Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Commit to a consistent work schedule

Experience

  • Preference will be given to individuals with a background in tennis and/or retail sales

Part time hours

  • Minimum 32-40 hours total, including a minimum of four 8-hour shifts over 13 days, comprised of days shifts, evenings and weekends per Event Store hours.
