# Title: Head Speed MP L 2024 ## Description: The Speed MP L has a softer feel with upgraded Auxetic 2.0 technology, suitable for an ambitious all-court club player, rising intermediate or adept beginner looking for controllable power, excellent manoeuvrability and easier handling. The Speed MP weighs in slightly lighter than average at 9.9 ounces unstrung which provides players with a blend of stability and manoeuvrability for enhanced swing speed to generate power and spin more easily. Due to the head-light balance and weight, the racquet won't feel sluggish and instead will provide players with great racquet speed and manoeuvrability for increased spin potential and quick, dynamic volleys. The head size at 100 square inches provides a relatively generous sweet spot with good access to power potential and some comfort. The open string pattern will increase the response off the string bed for a relative increase in power potential, provide a bit more comfort as well as enable easier access to spin. The racquet's relative flexibility allows for greater comfort as well as enhanced feel of the ball. HEAD's Auxetic 2.0 technology has been added to the 2024 Speed series for an updated softer feel, improving on an already sensational feel. Slightly heavier than the previous MP L, enhancing the controllable power, this racquet is still lighter than the MP and is ideal for players who are looking for more manoeuvrability and easier handling. HEAD has partnered with Berlac, a premium Swiss lacquer manufacturer, to implement a surface that feels softer to the touch while being robust, durable and chemically resistant. Player's looking for an easier handling racquet with controllable power in a lighter package should give the MP L a try. Head Size: 100 sq. inches / 645 sq. cm Length: 27 inches / 68.58 cm Weight: 9.9 oz / 280g unstrung Balance: 6 pts head light / 325mm unstrung Swing Weight: 312 Beam width: 23mm / 23mm / 23mm Flex: 60 Tension Range: 48-57 lbs / 22-26 kg String Pattern: 16/19 Style #: 236024 AUXETIC: Auxetic constructions show a unique deformation compared to non-Auxetic constructions. Due to their internal properties, Auxetic constructions widen when a “pull” force is applied and contract when squeezed. The bigger the applied force, the bigger the Auxetic reaction. GRAPHENE INSIDE: Strategically positioned in most of HEAD's racquets, Graphene strengthens the frame, provides greater stability and optimises energy transfer from racquet to ball. POWER GROMMETS: The enlarged power grommets maximize string movement for increased power. DIRECTIONAL DRILLING: Directional drilling combine increased power and sweetspot, delivering a plush impact feel. SPEED PATTERN: A special speed string pattern provides with the perfect mix of power under control. SPEED BEAM: The aerodynamic cross-section of the Speed beam maximizes swingspeed and power. ## Product type: Racquet ## Vendor: Head ## Tags: 9-9-10-4-oz, adult-racquets, family-speed, head, head-light, midplus-96-105, out-of-stock, racquets, Status_NOT_New, type-racquets ## Price range: 199.0 - 199.0 CAD ## Link: https://www.merchantoftennis.com/products/head-racquet-speed-mp-l ## Compare-at price range: 279.0 - 279.0 CAD ## Options - Grip Size: L0 (4), L1 (1-8), L2 (1-4), L3 (3-8) ## Collections - [Racquets](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/racquets) - [All](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/all) - [Head](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/head) - [Midplus (96-105)](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/midplus-96-105) - [9.9 - 10.4 oz](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/9-9-10-4-oz) - [Head Light](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/head-light) - [Adult Tennis Racquets](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/adult-racquets) - [HEAD Speed Series](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/head-speed-series) - [Popular Adult Racquets](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/popular-adult-racquets) - [Head Speed Tennis Racquets](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/head-speed-tennis-racquets) - [Racquets by type](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/racquets-by-type) - [Newest](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/newest) - [Speed](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/family-speed) - [Tennis Racquets](https://www.merchantoftennis.com/a/llms/collections/tennis-racquets) ## Variants - L0 (4), SKU: 90259, Available: no, Inventory: 0, Delivery profile: General profile - L1 (1-8), SKU: 90260, Available: no, Inventory: 0, Delivery profile: General profile - L2 (1-4), SKU: 90261, Available: no, Inventory: 0, Delivery profile: General profile - L3 (3-8), SKU: 90262, Available: no, Inventory: 0, Delivery profile: General profile
